Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Remedial Action Plan

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) Remediation Project ("the Project") includes the remediation of four areas of known contamination within the MBQ community. The four areas include: Parcel 1, Parcel 5A/C, Parcel 10 and Parcel 12. The Project will be completed in two phases: Phase I: the design of a remedial action plan and tender package by Dillon Consulting, followed by Phase II: the remediation activities which will be completed by external Contractors with oversight from Dillon. The areas requiring remediation within the Project sites have been impacted by heavy metals, petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs), PAHs, or a combination thereof from various sources ranging from discarded waste (e.g., vehicles, burnt debris, etc.) to a former service station.
