Window Replacement Implementation - Major-General G.R. Pearkes

This project involves replacing nine deteriorated windows at the Major-General G.R. Pearkes Building, a recognized federal heritage building. The windows are character-defining elements of the building's architecture, so the project will follow federal heritage conservation standards.
Mitigation measures will include repairing or replacing windows in-kind using historically appropriate materials and designs, protecting adjacent heritage features during construction, limiting noise and dust, following municipal by-laws for idling and noise control, and disposing of removed materials in accordance with federal and municipal waste regulations, prioritizing recycling where possible.
