2025 Tile Drainage

The purpose of this project is to install modern tile drainage systems in active agricultural fields to improve field conditions for farming. By improving drainage, these systems will increase the land's workability and crop production. Additionally, this tile drainage will help prevent soil erosion and improve water quality in the West Duffins Creek and Petticoat Creek watersheds. The installation process involves excavating linear trenches across the fields to place the piping, and excavating areas where pipelines connect, and system outlets are located. Once installed, the systems are subject to ongoing maintenance and improvement. This work may include the placement of additional drainage lines and re-excavation of existing components to repair broken elements or improve performance.
