Royal Military College Concrete Pad Construction - Royal Military College of Canada Kingston

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The proposed project is to build a concrete pad for the purpose of creating an outdoor workout area to be used by Royal Military College (RMC) students. The size of the concrete pad will be 80 feet x 50 feet. The project construction is projected to last up to 2 weeks with multi-year usage and minimal maintenance of the concrete pad required. Sea cans will be placed on the pad for storage of gym equipment.

September 1, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
