Boundary Road Bridge Disposal, TSW, Mara-Eldon Boundary Road/Simcoe Street, Bolsover, Ontario

This project is aimed at the disposal of Boundary Road Swing Bridge as an asset. With the bridge superstructure already removed from site, the project will complete the asset disposal by planning and implementing site restoration measures recognizing the site shall no longer serve as a bridge crossing.

There is current risk to public safety and perception, as well as environmental degradation, if the site remains in its current state. This new project reorients focus toward the general decommissioning of the site as an active bridge crossing. The site is to be naturalized removing remnants of old bridge including the in-water substructure components to an extent below the low water level line.
