Extension of Battle Road - Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) proposes to extend Battle Road for routing traffic around a gatehouse/reception building at the entrance point to the Mattawa Plains Compound at 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa. The project work is limited to the construction of the extension of the current Battle Road connecting it from Brindle Road to Passchendaele Road. The proposed extension of Battle Road will be approximately 1 km in length.

Latest update

October 1, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
