City of Kawartha Lakes - Repair of Existing Stormwater Outlet

As part of the Old Mill Park reconstruction project, the activity is the repair of an existing storm water outlet in proximity to Scugog River. The project involves stabilizing the adjacent bank and placing of 4mx4m of riprap/rock on the bed in order to provide erosion protection for the outlet.


Latest update

July 11, 2024 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until August 10, 2024 respecting that determination.
