Port of Oshawa - Extension of Berm Adjacent to Second Marsh

The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority is proposing to extend the earth berm adjacent to the Second Marsh to the port's northern property boundary.  The berm will be constructed to a height of 5-7 m within the 120 m strip of land along the port's eastern property boundary, excluding lands identified as a buffer zone in the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority's Letters Patent.  Environmentally and geotechnically suitable soil required to construct the berm will be sourced from within port property. The completed berm will be seeded with native plantings.
