Technical and Protective Operations Facility (TPOF) Walkway Project

With the future opening of two (2) new buildings there is a growing requirement to look at short to medium term solutions to facilitate the circulation of pedestrians and cyclist from the Lower terrace to the Upper terrace. The proposal is to build a 3 m asphalt multiuse pathway approximately 350 m long located a minimum of 1 m from the edge of asphalt of the existing roadway. This allows for a physical separation of the multiuse pathway users and the vehicle traffic with the critical steep slope area further separated by existing drainage ditches. The addition of necessary signage will also be included as part of the project.
