New Delivery Centre - Orillia ON

Canada Post Corporation (CPC) is proposing to construct and operate a New Delivery Centre on a 1.31-hectare site at 14-16 Nelle Carter Court in Orillia, Ontario. 

The Project includes a new building of approximately 1,300 square meters.  Pre-construction activities will include exclusion fencing, land clearing, topsoil stripping, sub-excavation, engineered fill, rough grading, and implementation of a soil management plan. The new Delivery Centre is a final sort facility for mail and parcels and will include some office space. The Project site will also include loading and parking spaces for trucks and a trailer, employee parking, landscaping, stormwater management, site lighting, and waste and recycling storage.


Latest update

March 31, 2026 - Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until April 30, 2026 respecting that determination.
