Parking Lot Repaving at the Canada Post Mail Facility, Etobicoke, ON

Canada Post is proposing to repave in phases approximately 2 500m² of the existing parking surfaces at the Canada Post mail facility in Etobicoke, Ontario. The current parking lot, located west of the building will be repaved. The work will be conducted within the rear parking area designated for Canada Post trucks. The work will include removal of the existing asphalt with repaving of new asphalt, resetting storm drains (as required) and repainting lines. Construction staging will be in the existing parking lot (will not extend beyond the current hardscape). No trees are located within the areas to be repaved. 


Latest update

April 15, 2026 – Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until May 15, 2026 respecting that determination.
