Project involves shoreline protection of approximately 168m (550') with riprap to protect against wave action from boat traffic. There are trees along the shoreline tipping into the river because the earth below them has been eroded. Footprint is approximated to be 168 x 2.5m, for 420m². Approximately 1/3 of the footprint, or 140m² will be below the upper controlled navigation level.

May 7 2026 – Parks Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
