Outfall Pipe, Lake Scugog, Scugog Township

The overall intent of this project is to install a sewage treatment plant outfall pipe into Lake Scugog as part of a sewage treatment plant upgrade project at Goreski's Landing Resort of Scugog Township. This will involve the installation of 75 mm diameter HDPE pipe and concrete anchors into the waterbody. The outfall pipe shall be placed in a shallow trench along the bottom waterbed of Lake Scugog, terminating approximately 200 m from shore. The discharge end of the pipe will be mounted with an effluent diffuser placed above the surface of the waterbed substrate, and a minimum of 1 m below the low water mark elevation level.
