Construction of a New Facility for 2 Service Battalion - Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing to construct a new facility for 2 Service Battalion at Garrison Petawawa. The new facility will be a 12,323 square meters one-story building to accommodate and meet the operational requirements of the Administrative Company and elements of the Battalion Headquarters.

June 8, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The authorities are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
