Little Brother Lake Dam Replacement

The project is a complete replacement of the dam in the same location as the existing dam. The main work involves the complete demolition of the existing main dam, construction of a new dam in the same location and orientation. Other works include clearing for laydown and project staging and construction of temporary cofferdams

June 29 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
