Polly Creek Ecopassage Phase 1 - Parking Lot

The goal of this project is to enhance safety and expand parking for visitors to the Wolf Trail in Thousand Islands National Park. This work represents Phase 1 of the larger Polly Creek Eco passage project, which aims to restore the adjacent wetland habitat by safely reconnecting areas divided by the County Rd. 5 and reducing road-related wildlife mortality. This Eco passage also helps connect protected lands in an east-west corridor that is part of the Algonquin to Adirondack Wildlife Movement Corridor. The project scope consists of constructing an approximately 25mx25m gravel parking lot with a gravel laneway entrance from Country Rd.5. Wildlife
