Sewer Separation at NRC Montreal Road Campus

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is proposing to separate the sanitary sewer from the storm sewer between Building M16 and M9 at the NRC Montreal Road Campus, Ottawa, Ontario.

The project will include site preparation, excavation, infrastructure installation and site restoration. Access to Marrion Street will be closed during the construction.

Latest update

May, 28, 2026 – NRC intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the NRC is inviting public comments until June 28, 2026, respecting that determination.
