YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport - Development of a satellite jetty

ADM Aéroports de Montréal wishes to develop a satellite jetty on the airport territory of YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. The implementation of this project will reduce remote boarding/deplaning bus operations, improving the user experience and meeting the needs of the airlines.

This project consists of two parts that will be carried out in parallel:

  1. The development of a temporary satellite jetty with 4 MARS boarding gates that can accommodate up to 8 aircraft depending on the type of aircraft, planned to be in operation by December 2026.
  2. The construction of a permanent satellite jetty with 12 MARS-type boarding gates, which can accommodate up to 24 aircraft depending on the type of aircraft, plus 4 regular boarding gates, as well as a pedestrian tunnel allowing a connection for passengers and baggage between the satellite jetty and the existing international jetty.

ADM is aiming to obtain LEED certification for the satellite jetty project and will take into account the ZCB-Design, Envision and WELL certifications in order to carry out a more sustainable project. Many measures will also be implemented to reduce the building's energy consumption.
