Abandoned Gasoline Station

The project is the removal of 5 underground storage tanks and their associated piping. Tanks will be excavated and removed using an excavator. Once removed, they will be vented and rendered unusable. Tanks will be excavated, vented and removed using an excavator. The tank will be put on a flatbed for offsite disposal. The fill immediately surrounding the tank will be disposed of but no soil remediation past the tank nest will be completed at part of this project. The tanks were pumped in December 2019. If liquids are observed inside the tank at the time of removal, they will be pumped again and the liquid will be disposed of as per the regulation.
