Saint-Hubert Airport Development Project

Développement Aéroport Saint-Hubert de Longueuil and Partenaires d'infrastructure YHU are proposing the construction and operation of a new terminal, as well as to adapt various existing elements on the site of the Montreal Metropolitan Airport (formerly known as the Montreal Saint-Hubert Airport). The project will enable the airport, which currently receives no commercial flights, to gain the capacity to handle four million domestic commercial passengers annually.

Latest update

November 19, 2024 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada’s Vice-President of Operations, on behalf of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, responded to a request to designate the Saint-Hubert Airport Development Project. The project cannot be designated under the Impact Assessment Act because it has substantially begun. The reasons are provided in the Vice-President of Operations' response.
