Improvement of the watertightness and structural integrity of the Carillon lock

During the dry docking of the lock at the Carillon Canal National Historic Site in 2024, it was noted that the concrete surfaces of various structures below the waterline were showing signs of deterioration. In fact, the condition of the concrete had deteriorated significantly between 2019 and 2024. The project aims to address the significant civil and mechanical issues related to the watertightness and structural integrity of the lock that were identified.
