Expansion of shed 43, Laurier terminal - Port of Montreal

The proposed project consists of expanding shed 43 located at the Laurier terminal of the Port of Montreal (section 43). The expansion will be carried out on the east side of the existing shed over an area of 3,700 m2. The architecture and color of the extension will be similar to the existing shed, but approximately 6.6m lower, or about 24 m high. The expansion of shed 43 will make it possible to compensate for the areas of sheds 39-40 that will eventually be demolished. It will also optimize spaces and improve solid bulk handling and storage operations by the terminal operator.
