Pirew Sector Development (A, B and I) in Manawan

The project consists of extending Pirew Street (775 l.m.) as well as the construction of streets B (490 l.m.), C (225 l.m.) and industrial park (530 l.m.) to serve 1 commercial lot, 12 industrial lots and 91 low- and medium-density residential lots. It will also include the construction of approximately 130 l.m. of servitude pipeline to connect to existing services and the construction of a permanent retention basin, which will require the refurbishment of approximately 50 l.m. of the existing stormwater network on Rue Asati. The project area is approximately 250,160 m2. A maximum surface area of 181,700 m2 will be cleared, of which 30,000 m2 has already been cleared for geotechnical studies.

Latest update

April 23, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
