Aitchelitz Subdivision and Community Infrastructure Upgrades

There are 18 existing homes in the community, 16 of which are east of Aitchelitz Creek. The land west of Aitchelitz Creek is primarily industrial with 2 existing homes. The proposed subdivision expansion will occur in the residential area east of Aitchelitz Creek and will build out the existing subdivision with an additional 12 single-family residential lots and 5 tiny home lots. Each tiny home lot will have 2 tiny home units, creating a total of 22 additional homes for communitymembers. The proposed subdivision expansion area is approximately 1.7 ha. The proposed development requires the design of the following infrastructure components:
-New road construction of ‘Road A' and ‘Road B' (placeholder names until permanent names are
assigned by the community)
-Upgrading and expanding Lax Ya Til Road
-New storm sewer and service connection for all proposed and existing lots in the subdivision
-New sanitary pump station, sanitary sewer, and sanitary service connection for all proposed and
existing lots within the subdivision
-New community water system and service connection for all proposed lots and existing lots within
the subdivision
-New electrical and communications lines, and street lighting throughout the community
-Stormwater detention tanks and a storm outlet west of the proposed subdivision
