Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village - Access Road Repair and Re-grading

The Kwìkwèxwelhp access road is 2 km and provides specific access to the institution. Over the years damage to the road has occurred that is beginning to create safety issues. The project is to repair and regrade the existing access road and repair or replace culverts along the road.

April 19, 2021 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Correctional Service of Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
