Kwantlen First Nation Housing Project

The proposed project is located on Kwantlen First Nation's Langley IR 2 in the city of Mission, BC. The site is approximately 9.21 acres and situated within an area that is mostly forested with several streams running through it. The proposed development is designed to have a footprint of approximately 0.5 acres situated on the southwest portion of the site. The Project will include a six-story, 65-unit residential apartment building with commercial retail space, 81 vehicle parking stalls, 84 bicycle stalls, a daycare centre, sanitary treatment facilities, and sanitary dispersal lines. The proposed Project will provide affordable housing for families in the Maple Ridge and Mission areas.

September 05, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Environment and Climate Change Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
