Private Dock replacement - 864 and 868 Alderside Rd.

The Applicant proposes to replace two derelict private docks with one shared, private dock.

The proposed shared, private dock includes a walkway supported by four (4) concrete columns spanning from an existing retaining wall, a connecting ramp, and a float secured by two (2) steel piles. The dock float will move vertically with the tides. The dock and walkway will be aluminum prefabricated pieces with thruflow decking to allow light penetration and reduce impacts to the surrounding environment.

Port Moody, B.C. – October 8, 2025 – The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has determined that the proposed Private dock replacement located at 864 and 868 Alderside Road, Port Moody is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
