Vegetation removal and internal access road installation

Mainland Construction Materials ULC is proposing to remove approximately 4,700 square metres of vegetation and build a 1,300 square metre (130 metre long by 10 metre wide) internal access road on top of an existing berm that runs parallel to Dock Road at 10619 Timberland Road, Surrey. The existing vegetation and trees would be removed and transported to a licensed green waste facility and the road would be built by grading and graveling the existing berm to grade, using the existing gravel on site and will not be paved. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic and congestion along Dock Road and overall access to their barge that is located in the water lot on the Fraser River.

Construction would be conducted during regular hours and the overall duration of the project is approximately 6 months.
