Truck gate upgrade - DP World Fraser Surrey

DP World Fraser Surrey Inc. is proposing to upgrade the terminal truck gate infrastructure at their site located at 11060 Elevator Road, Surrey, BC to increase operational efficiency and integrate modern technology at the terminal. The project would include the establishment of a temporary truck gate for use during construction, removing existing truck gate infrastructure, utility works, and the installation of new gate infrastructure including concrete foundations, a lunchroom, a security kiosk, gates, lighting, and gate technology. The project would also include the realignment of approximately three refrigerated container storage stations resulting in an increase in the overall terminal storage capacity.

Surrey, B.C. – May 8, 2025 – The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and Environment and Climate Change Canada have determined that the proposed Truck gate upgrades – DP World Fraser Surrey is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
