Duke Point Terminal Expansion Project

DP World Nanaimo Inc. is proposing to expand the existing Duke Point Terminal, a marine terminal located on the east side of Duke Point Nanaimo, British Columbia. The purpose of the Duke Point Terminal Expansion Project is to lengthen the existing berth face from 182 metres to 325 metres, increase the paved storage area within the existing property, and replace and upgrade existing infrastructure. The project would support increased domestic and international trade by providing efficient terminal access for simultaneous berthing for container vessels and barges.
