Amendment to the permit expiry date for the approved Centerm Expansion Project

The Permit Holder proposes to carry out physical activities related to the completion of the Centerm Expansion Project up until April 30, 2023. This would require an extension to the approved project permit (PER No. 15-012), which has an expiry date of April 30, 2022.

The extension is being requested as a result of project scheduling delays. The scope of works that would be completed during the extended period remains unchanged and includes expansion and upgrades to the existing Centerm container terminal (on-terminal), as well as improvements to adjacent road and rail access that are both within and outside the port authority's jurisdiction (off-terminal).

For more information on the approved project permit, please visit the project page on the port authority website.
