Ts'uubaa-asatx Community and Youth Centre

The project includes the construction of a Community and Youth Centre building, and consists of site development, servicing, foundation excavation, concrete foundations, building construction, and parking lot construction. The site is an existing cleared lot within a wider community building plan area currently under construction, and will include potable water and wastewater services.

Ts'uubaa-asatx Community and Youth Centre – Public Comments Invited

 

September 30, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Ts'uubaa-asatx Community and Youth Centre, located in Ts'uubaa-asatx IR1, Lake Cowichan, BC is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

 

Written comments must be submitted by October 30, 2025 to the BC Environment Team.
