Shed 1 Demolition - DP World Fraser Surrey

DP World Fraser Surrey (the Applicant) is proposing to demolish the superstructure of Shed 1 located at 11060 Elevator Road, Surrey, BC. The shed is currently used for miscellaneous indoor storage and is being proposed to be removed to free up approximately 5 percent of outdoor space to improve terminal efficiency and store break-bulk commodities like steel. The project is comprised of the demolition of the shed, relocation of the existing fibre optic line and fire hydrant, capping of the existing sanitary and water lines for the shed, and the installation of a new high-mast light tower. The footprint of the area that is being demolished is approximately 6,705 square metres with a height of approximately 10 metres.

If the project is approved, demolition activities are anticipated to take approximately four months to complete.
