Housing Gaps Fund For On Reserve Housing - Lot Servicing and Preconstruction Activities

Saugeen First Nation is located along the Saugeen River and Bruce Peninsula and has an on reserve population of approximately 810. 
The First Nation proposes the following activities:
Site Clearing and site preparation
The construction of 14  townhouse units in addition to installing new water services and septic beds
Gravel for the future turn around area and parking lots (Granular B & A)
Surface treatments for the access road up to the future turn around area and parking lot (Surface Treatment  Granular A regrading, Curb, Sidewalk, and Paving)
Storm sewer and water main extensions
Landscaping, pavement markings, and signage

 

Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
