Gima Kwe Nong Parking Area

A small parking lot to be created on previously disturbed former access road at Gima Kwe Nong (previously known as Emmett Lake Ranger Camp). The site is made up of a small concrete pad and gravel base with overgrown vegetation. Work includes removing small saplings/vegetation, scraping 1-3" organic material and resurfacing with gravel.


Latest update

September 27, 2022 – Parks Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
