HMCS Prevost Marina Sediment Dredging, Port Stanley

The Department of National Defence (DND) proposes a project. The objective of the proposed project is to restore safe and reliable navigational access for DND Naval Reserve small craft and other naval vessels through a routine maintenance dredging program. To meet operational requirements, DND intends to remove accumulated sediments from the bed of Kettle Creek within the DND water lot. Sediment buildup has reduced available water depths to the extent that Naval Reserve training activities cannot currently be carried out.
