Oneida of the Thames Water System Upgrades

The Oneida Nation of the Thames is located approximately 25km south of London and north of Highway 401 and is comprised of one Reserve area named Oneida 41 which is approximately 2,133 hectares in size. 

The First Nation purposes the building of:
Re-chlorination station
control building/high capacity pumping station
2 storage reservoirs
wastewater lift station 
wastewater treatment plant

3825m of 300mm watermain
1232m of 250mm watermain
1769m of 200mm watermain
in order to serve the community as a whole, in addition to:
7040m for fireflows and 2610m for residential watermain as well as 59 hydrants.

The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
