Repair Culvert at Indian Brook, Champlain – 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. Where Indian Brook crosses Champlain Avenue, just southeast of Lombary Street, is a 25 m long culvert, situated approximately 3.5 m below grade. The culvert has been identified as being in poor condition and needing to be replaced. The soil has been undermined on either side of Champlain, where culvert pipe sections have come apart at the seams. There is a risk of the culvert failing and washing out if it is not replaced in the near future.
