New Float System at the Chance Harbour Fisheries and Oceans Canada Small Craft Harbour, Saint John County, New Brunswick

The proposed project will include installation of seven new floats running parallel to the harbour. The new floats will be anchored at the top of the wharf decking and will float up and down new steel pipe piles that will be driven into the substrate in line with the existing fender piles.

Notice of Determination

Decemer 9, 2021 - Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Small Craft Harbours (DFO-SCH) have issued their Notice of Determination after evaluation of the project New Float System at the Chance Harbour Fisheries and Oceans Canada Small Craft Harbour, Saint John County, New Brunswick and have determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects with mitigation measures as outlined in their evaluation and can therefore proceed.
