Escuminac Wharf Upgrades

The proposed project at Escuminac SCH in Northumberland County, New Brunswick, involves the rebuilding of the wharf (structure 412), the replacement of the boat ramp (structure 503), re-paving of the parking lot, and the installation of new light poles and electrical to accompany the new wharf. Structure 412 will undergo an extensive remodel which will consist of the installation of a combination of berlin wall structure over about half the length, and a timber pile structure for the other half. The H-piles will be drilled into the sediment, as well as the timber piles planned for the open section of the wharf. The new wharf components will have sheathing installed on the wharf side. The new boat ramp will be a slab on grade, and will slope down towards the water. The parking lot will be slanted away from the water and include catch basins. The new electrical will include plugs, light poles, and the wiring associated with each of those components.
