Esgenoôpetitj Community and Cultural Centre

The project will include the construction a youth center community building. The project will also include the removal of the existing basketball court, and installation of a new basketball court, a community garden, a parking lot, and installation of a fire circle. Site preparation activities include excavation and site grading. The total project footprint is approximately 1.12 hectares.

October 7, 2025 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
