Construct Land Vehicle Crew Training System - 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) intends to construct a new Land Vehicle Crew Training System (LVCTS) building at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown. The purpose of the LVCTS Project will be to provide a virtual training system that will provide the Canadian Army with the capability to enhance various types of armoured vehicle crew training from individual training for Drivers and Gunners up to collective training for a full Combat Team. Each simulation facility will have space for Simulators, training classroom, Exercise Control Room, Auditorium, Computer Server Rooms, and some expansion space for future simulation systems.

September 7, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
