Tok Chong Crossing Replacement - 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The Project includes the realignment of Dunns Road on either side of its approach to the Nerepis River, installation of a new watercourse crossing (arch culvert) where Dunns Road meets the Nerepis River and removal of the current Tok Chong Bridge. The existing bridge will be removed excepting the abutments which will remain in place for training exercises.

February 18, 2026— The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
