Design and Construction of Advanced Water Supply System (AWSS) Infrastructure - 5th Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. This project consists of demolition of an existing in-ground water reservoir and a concrete pad (approximately 200 square meters), design and construction of new warehouse building (87 feet by 40 feet) to house mobile water treatment plants, design and construction of new exterior concrete pad (82 feet by 55 feet) for the parked mobile water treatment trailers, design and construction of water intake structure and pumping station to take water from nearby Swan lake and design Construction of one in-ground water storage tank (40feet by 5feet by 5 feet) and two smaller above ground water storage tanks (5000 Liters each).

June 24, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
