Expansion of Cottage Accommodation Service Offer, Dalvay-by-the-Sea National Historic Site, PEINP

A third-party operator is proposing cottage expansion at the Dalvay-by-the-Sea Hotel, located at the Dalvay-by-the-Sea National Historic Site (DBTS NHS), to facilitate increased sustainability of the hotel operation. The Project will include the addition of 12 new cottages, development of cottage driveways, development of access roads to the cottages, trenching in of utilities (electrical, water, sewer), and landscaping around the cottages and roads. Work will be conducted with heavy machinery from within the development footprint.

Latest update

November 10, 2025 – The authority issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
