Shoreline Protection at Bay Fortune Small Craft Harbour, PEI

The proposed work includes installation of shore protection via the placement of armourstone in front of Structures 403 and 402 at Bay Fortune SCH. The proposed works include the placement of the rock at a 1 to 1 slope for approximately 72m in length. The proposed works will be approximately 3m in width for a maximum total area of approximately 220m².

February 14, 2020Fisheries and Oceans Canada- Small Craft Harbours has issued its Notice of Determination after evaluation of the project Shoreline Protection at Bay Fortune Small Craft Harbour, PEI, and has determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects with mitigation measures as outlined in their evaluation and can therefore proceed.
