Acadia First Nation Housing Development

The housing development consists of eight housing lots and associated infrastructure.  The development area is approximately 1.15 hectares.

Activities include:

  • Site preparation; vegetation clearing as required.
  • excavation and grubbing of work areas,
  • construction of road and gravel driveways,
  • construction of houses in accordance to current building codes,
  • electrical and municipal hookup, street lighting, emergency water services,
  • application of topsoil and replanting, as required
  • implementation of sediment and erosion control measures
  • disposal of waste at an approved facility

September 16, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/136015 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
