Redevelopment of the Petite-Ferme sector, Cap-Tourmente National Wildlife Reserve

Environment and Climate Change Canada's Canadian Wildlife Service (ECCC-CWS) wants to redevelop the Petite-Ferme sector of the Cap-Tourmente National Wildlife Area (NWA) in order to formalize the site as a National Historic Site (NHS). The CWS will highlight the site's rich past as well as the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada (HSMBC) plaque. The project includes the creation of vegetated areas, the addition of trails and stone walls, and the integration of replicas of archaeological artifacts to make the space around the Petite-Ferme house more functional and add biodiversity to the area.
