Floating sauna at the Louise Bassin

Solstice Sauna aims to offer a unifying Nordic experience at the Louise Basin by developing a floating sauna. Located in the heart of the historic city, the facilities will be designed in harmony with the site and the built environment. The experience will promote contemplation, relaxation, and, above all, socialization among participants. The project aims to democratize the wellness industry by making opportunities for self-care more accessible and offering the opportunity to do so in complete communion with the surrounding nature.

  

To achieve this, Solstice Sauna intends to install on a 50 X 70 foot barge in the long term in the Louise basin, comprising 4 saunas and 2 changing rooms, a 5 foot X 10 foot cold water bath and outdoor showers operating during the warmer season.
