The project concerns building 100 located at 101 Champlain Boulevard in Quebec, owned by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). Given the age of the building and the confirmed presence of materials that may contain asbestos and/or other contaminants, DFO wishes to proceed with the decontamination and deconstruction of this building to reduce the maintenance and operational costs of the site.
